Kaira Splash

I started messing around with water effects recently. They sure can eat up some RAM! Only having 16 GB, the simple splash in this image was a challenge to process and it’s fairly low resolution. It took me a minute to figure out why the program kept crashing, LOL.

Nowadays, the price of RAM is so outrageously expensive, it kind of makes me feel a little bit depressed, especially because I was going to buy some early November, but decided to wait to see if I could get a good deal on Black Friday. That was a mistake… Come Black Friday, the price had already increased almost 10% and it’s just kept going up ever since. Now the kit I wanted to buy is almost twice as much!

Anyway, enough about that…

This is another image featuring the 3D version of drb7364’s comic book character Kaira, that I created sculpting her from G3F. Apparently I must like the way she turned out since I seem to keep using her in my renders. Not trying to toot my own horn or anything, just thinking out loud. If typing can be considered thinking out loud anyway…

I started working on creating some skin textures for her. This is their first debut! In all the other renders I’ve posted of her she’s portrayed with Olympia 7’s textures.

Let me know what you think!
